Chemical Analytics & Synthesis

Main focus of the department is quantitative, mass spectrometric analysis. Analytical methods for quantification have been developed for more than 100 different drugs and metabolites, being used primarily for pharmacokinetic studies and for in vitro investigations of enzyme kinetics and drug transport.

The core facility Molecular Analytics provides various analytical methods and platforms for genotyping and gene expression analysis, DNA sequencing as well as array-based genomic analyses.

Clinical Trials

Clinical trials are of great importance for medical progress and are an indispensable part of being able to better assess the effectiveness and tolerability of drugs. This requires drug studies to be carried out with volunteers (= healthy study participants).

The Robert Bosch Stiftung is one of the major foundations in Europe that is associated with a private company. Through our work, we have followed the legacy of Robert Bosch for almost 60 years, continuing his commitment to social and societal causes in a contemporary form.
